Walking through the massive pillar-lined entrance to the Darioush Winery is a little intimidating. But you'll get the VIP treatment from the moment you're greeted with warm hospitality by one of the gracious hosts at the door of this impressive estate.

A Little Background

Founded in 1997, the magnificent Darioush winery was the vision of Darioush Khaledi, who left his native Iran and a successful engineering career seeking opportunity and freedom in the United States.

Darioush, along with winemaker Steve Devitt, saw potential to make world-class Bordeaux wines in the temperate climates of southern Napa Valley and atop Mount Veeder. Together, they crafted balanced wines with complexity, style and character. Early vintages of the flagship Darioush Signature Cabernet Sauvignon were critically acclaimed and given a coveted spot on Wine Spectator's Top 100 list. 

Today, Darioush winery continues to earn praise for beautifully blending centuries-old traditions in winemaking and exceptional experiences to its guests.

Darioush Vineyards and Wines

Darioush Winery's estate is made up of 120-acres, spanning the cooler, southern edge of Napa from high above Mount Veeder to Oak Knoll and south of Stags Leap.

Best known for Signature Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery has expanded to include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and small lots of Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay and Shiraz.
