A Little Background

Founded in 1980 by Hack and Stella Wilson, Chimney Rock has a distinctive Cape Dutch-style architecture, inspired by their former South Africa home.

In 2002, Tony Terlato became partners with the Wilsons, upgrading the winemaking facility and matching the grape varietals to separate vineyards, showcasing the grapes best qualities. Today, the Terlato family has sole ownership of Chimney Rock and continues to make wines that display the varietal character beautifully.
